Featuring: CEA Project Logistics
CEA Project Logistics provide cross border services from Thailand to Myanmar offering their customers full cargo consolidation, transportation, customs and duty clearance. The majority of their Myanmar shipments are consolidated at their logistics base in Laem Chabang, Thailand and then delivered with full DDP to clients in Myanmar.
This week, John Hamilton (Country Manager for CEA Myanmar) was a guest speaker to give a presentation on recent projects in Myanmar at the Myanmar Supply Chain Summit held in Yangon to discuss the best practices for improved supply chain performance. John states; "CEA can offer the flexibility of new routes to all our clients and additionally, we also provide visibility, security, extra capacity and the option of multi-modal transportation for finished goods, machinery and raw materials. All of CEA's operational bases are strategically placed to offer our clients valued solutions.
Regular road services (bi-weekly & express services available) connect Myanmar and Thailand enabling us to make substantial savings for our clients when compared to air freight transportation and other methods. Our fleet includes an In-Vehicle Management System (IVMS) giving the customer greater insight and control. Such is the demand in Myanmar for cross-border transportation, CEA have added two new UD 420 Quester Prime Movers & Trailers to our already comprehensive fleet.
