Wilhelmsen Ships Service have recently handled the dispatch of power generation equipment from the UAE to USA.
Their scope of work involved the movement of 4 lot of gensets via RORO, consisting of a total of 7 towable units (855cbm) and 26 breakbulk units (2,210cbm), from Jebel Ali Port to Houston and Baltimore Ports including transport from the shipper's location to port, export customs clearance and all port activities at origin.
The shipments were executed on schedule and Wilhelmsen are pleased to confirm that everything worked accordingly to plan for the entire shipment and they are looking forward to subsequent cargo moves from the client.
Deepak Nair at Wilhelmsen concludes; "If you are looking for any solutions to ship out-of-gauge cargo from the Middle East to North America then RORO services provide a safe and efficient means of transport whilst maintaining predictable timeframes for delivery."
