Globalink Move 11,000mtn of Project Cargo from Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan

Globalink were recently contracted for a major project logistics management assignment involving the movement of over 11,000mtns of oversized machinery and construction equipment.

The huge amount of cargo was transported from Yolotan in Turkmenistan to an oilfield site located in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. General Manager of Business Development & Strategy, Mr. Aftab Ahmed states; "Our expert project logistics management team had all the resources to undertake the massive mobility of this cargo. Globalink engaged more than a dozen staff members for the preparation of complex export documentation, dismantling, industrial crating and loading & lashing to ensure the smooth door-to-door delivery of over 11,000mtns of project cargo to the final destination. Due to immense volume and complex cargo dimensions, we utilised all modes of transport by road, rail and sea to complete the on-time delivery.

The Globalink team also wasted no time at the destination to make the door-to-door delivery possible in record time. This successful shipment proves again that regional knowledge and experience really matters when it comes to turnkey project logistics and Globalink have got it all covered".
