Element International Logistics, PCN Members from Türkiye, are pleased to report on a recent transport they completed involving drilling machines and plenty of spare parts.

The company received a request to deliver the drilling machines & spare parts to Tripoli Port in Libya.

Drilling Machine (2 PCS): 23.63 m x 3.00 m x 3.57 m - 182 MT
Pipes (5 PCS): 600 cm x 80 cm x 80 cm - 2,900 kg
Kelly Ropes (2 PCS): 150 cm x 100 cm - 800 kg
Tremie Pipes (5 PCS): 300 cm x 50 cm - 600 kg
Kelly Bar (1 PCS): 1,200 cm x 60 cm - 10 MT
Twister (1 PCS): 150 cm x 88 cm - 1,300 kg

Thanks to their good relations with a shipowner, Element Logistics elected to use a breakbulk vessel for their customer's request.

After finding the most suitable date for this movement and its project vessel, they awaited approval from the customer before arranging for pre-carriage and port operations.

Element picked up the cargoes from Hatay City, south of Türkiye, using seven trucks and carriage to the loading port in İzmit.

Once loading onto the vessel was carefully completed with the aid of the port cranes, the ship sailed safely for Tripoli Port.
